שופר איל בסגנון תימני - מיוצר לפי דעת הרמב”ם, שגורס שאין לשנות את צורתה הטבעית של הקרן. השופר לא מיושר אלא נחתך קצת לפני החלל של הקרן ובעל מהלך קדח קצר, ולכן מתאפיין בצליל נמוך ועמוק. לרוב גם לא עובר עיבוד חיצוני כלל והקרן נשארת טבעית לחלוטין. 
A ram's shofar in the Yemeni style - produced according to the opinion of Maimonides, who holds that the natural shape of the horn should not be changed. The shofar is not aligned but is cut a little in front of the cavity of the horn and has a short bore stroke, therefore it is characterized by a low and deep sound. In most cases, no external processing is performed at all and the foundation remains completely natural.
